I own a HP vs17e can I play my 360 on it?

Answer:

Hiya W,

ABSOLUTELY,

The certified way is to catch a Microsoft Xbox VGA HD AV Cable which comes with instructions and is made specifically for this purpose.

You may hold to change the settings contained by the Xbox configuration but all the instructions and option come with the adapter cable.

There are a couple of other ways. Here is one chance that will allow you to play through your PC so you don't have to hold on to removing and replacing cables if you merely have 1 monitor.

It is the Gamebridge and hooks up to your computer near USB. It is compatible with the Xbox 360 and Windows 2K or superior. The great part is the price and it have a built in DVR / TV tuner so when you are not gaming you can monitor and record TV on your PC.

Now youjust enjoy to choose your weapon.

GOOD LUCK!!
As far as playing right into the monitor, it really doesn't look like it. From what I see, the vs17e with the sole purpose has a vga input not HDMI or DVI which are supported by at lowest possible the Elite Xbox 360.

If you have a video invasion card or RCA (yellow, white and red connection cords) somewhere on your computer, you can plug the xbox into that and it should work. Sometimes this dose not work the greatest but within most cases it at least works.

Your best prospect though, use a tv. You are going to have the lowest amount of problems and it will be easiest to use and will probably have the best clarity.

Hope this help!
