similar to this site displayes in a center near huge gaps any side, messenger comes up really small & every thing looks strange, any way to sort it out please

There are several things - first of adjectives, Right Click on your desktop & select Properties - go to the Settings tab - I'm guessing that the Screen resolution may be cause the issues - I have a 17 eyeshade too & my res is set to 1152 x 864 and the whole peak is filled.
Another object your screen looks strange may be due to the horizontal & vertical settings - on the monitor itself are some buttons which control things like contrast, brightness & horizontal & vertical alignment (Or, depending on the type of monitor, a single button which take you into a menu so you can modify the settings there). Try playing with these until you attain a decent (or better) result if the 1st perception doesn't work!
Hrm, you could go into the control panel > display and click on the settings tab and mess around next to the resolution and stuff and see if that helps.
look on tools on your eyeshade,press on look down and does it say full blind or F11,if yes place a tick at the side of them,this will put your screen on to full eyeshade, or you might after tune your monitor in, hope this help you
