I only just set my computer up after have it full up for 2 months, immediately my monitor have a slight quiver within it

special attention was taken not to bump or break it in any method, and on advice of a friend I own tried degausing it several times to no avail. Can anyone offer any suggestions to correct the problem?. Thanks, Wayne W.

Answer:

There are a few things that you can look at. First, bring in sure that it is plugged in properly. Shake the wires (I/O and the power cord) to see if that increases the distortion.

Second, check your power supply. What are you plugged surrounded by to? Do you have a flawless surge protector? What else is on the circuit? (Refrigerator, blender, entertainment center, etc.) This may be causing a disruption. Look at purchasing a UPS to condition the circuit.

Third, approachable up your computer. Check to make sure that the video card is inserted properly and fully connected. Sometimes, item pop out of position.

Fourth, if none of the above work, buy a new monitor. =o)
how long did you enjoy it on ? sometimes having it on for a while will fix the problem. also, it could be dated graphics drivers. firm to tell. you might hold to replace your monitor if you cant handle the quiver if it dont shift away.
